In the spirit of Halloween, I’ve picked out a blood-chilling point and click adventure to be played in the dark! Indie gamers, meet STASIS!

You won’t have to worry about jump scares or cheap attempts at scaring you. But you will have to worry about having nightmares of being stranded on a breaking ship in space.

STASIS is a gruesome isometric point and click horror adventure set on a heavily damaged spaceship. You emerge from your cryo-sleep to find your wife and child missing. Make your way through a barely functioning ship, and progress by solving puzzle to bring systems back online and unlock doors.

Point and click games limit the player to using only the mouse, making learning the controls a non-issue. You’ll jump right into the gameplay without hesitation. Seamlessly guide your character through a blood-stained spaceship with one hand, and hold in your lunch with the other.

STASIS has a great attention to detail that adds to its immersion. The environment is filled to the brim with broken systems, sparking wires, and strange mangled bodies that will leave you wondering if you’ll be able to sleep tonight. Players that enjoy reading can feel free to dive into the ship logs and slowly uncover the mystery behind this ship and its many issues. Even illiterate players that feel nauseous at the idea of reading a book, such as myself, may be tempted to read every detail provided, as each log adds interesting details and insights into your situation. You won’t be forced to read, but I highly recommend it.

Fans of creepy atmospheric games with a gruesome twist will love this game. I've always loved creepy twisted horror, but hated when games or movies would do nothing but jump scare. You won't have to worry about that here. Immerse yourself in the dark mystery surrounding the ship's destruction, and be taken along for a ride as your character learns more than he bargained for.

Playing STASIS was a great experience; so much so that I want to give it a proper review. This post has been just a taste of an upcoming review I’ll be doing on STASIS! Keep an eye out for that upcoming review post to learn more about why you should play STASIS.
